Battery installation
Hero Energy Australia supplies and installs home battery storage, with a new solar system or alongside an existing one where that is suitable.
Current offer: 28kWh AlphaESS battery from $3,900 including install (Melbourne). Final price depends on site conditions and the system quoted.
Suitability depends on your switchboard, inverter and site. We confirm that before we quote a final price.
A battery stores solar energy generated during the day so the household can use it in the evening or overnight, instead of buying that power from the grid.
Whether a battery suits your home depends on how you use electricity, the size of any existing solar system, the inverter and the switchboard.
Eligible battery installations can attract small-scale technology certificates (STCs) under the federal Cheaper Home Batteries Program. The number of certificates depends on usable capacity and the install date, and the rate steps down over time. Your quote shows the discount applied.
We work from 28B Stockdale Ave, Bentleigh East VIC 3165 and take jobs across south east Melbourne, including Bentleigh East, Bentleigh, Moorabbin, Cheltenham, Oakleigh, Clayton, Glen Waverley and Caulfield South, and across greater Melbourne.
Testimonials
“I’m on Origin’s 26.5c battery plan and sell my spare power back at night. With the current weather I pay no electricity bill and still come out over $100 ahead each month. Thank you!”

“My bill has dropped a lot — about 1,000 kWh in September for just $39. I can run the air-con freely now.”
